For those who might not know me, I am Andrej, I’m 40 years old, and I’m from a small country called Slovenia.
GAMING LIFE
I started my gaming journey at 6 years old with handheld games (the ones you could get from magazines and similar), where you could only move to 3 different positions. An example of such a game was… you were a little man carrying a bucket and you had to collect water drops falling from clothes while they were drying. Then came the Atari 2600 (yeah, I barely missed the Commodore era), followed by Nintendo with the Game Boy and the NES, and of course I just had to have the SNES as well. Naturally, I had to get the Nintendo 64 later on too. So I suppose I was more of a Nintendo follower, and as far as consoles go, I still am. But that simply wasn’t enough to satisfy my gaming needs. Back then, computers were too expensive, so consoles were the only alternative. That’s when Sony arrived with the PlayStation/PS2, followed by Microsoft with the original Xbox. So yeah, you could say I had every possible console under the sun back then. That’s a solid 24 years of gaming. I must also mention playing PC games, because back then I was in a clan that played Unreal Tournament ‘99 and Unreal Tournament 2k4 like crazy, so much so that we even participated in some ladders on the Clanbase website, though we weren’t that good. Still, great times!
That’s pretty much my life story, playing games and enjoying playing with other people.
